HTML for Members

After approval you receive a public page on this hub, two official banner snippets, and the official text link. Put the text link or one banner snippet on your own site, visibly. That is how the webring works: your visitors reach the directory, and directory visitors reach you and every other member.

A text link pointing to this site is the minimum for member status. It lets you enter and edit categories, your info, location, and an expanded description. A text link does not allow you to post your own banner on the webring.

To have your banner shown on the webring, you must post our official banner code on your site, in a place visitors will actually see. An administrator records when that official-banner placement is verified. There is no automated crawler.

What the official banner does

The image and the text link open this hub in a new tab (target="_blank" rel="noopener").
The files live on this hub at /siteimages/ringban.gif (400×40) and /siteimages/ringban-alt.gif (320×100).
Copy the HTML exactly, including WIDTH and HEIGHT for the file you chose.
Tell us the country and the exact page URL where you placed the banner or text link (your member login). An administrator records when that placement is verified.

Your listing

Members may edit their description (at most 500 characters), choose up to 5 categories, upload their own 400×40 or 320×100 banner, and set the URL that banner should open (new tab). Your uploaded banner is shown on this hub only after the official webring banner on your site is verified. Sign in at /account. If you forget the password, use password reset — mail is sent from this site via PHP sendmail (or optional SMTP). Check your spam folder.

Organic applications use /join. Outreach may still send a signed pre-filled join URL; that still requires an explicit submit and stays pending until approval. If the URL already exists as a directory listing, the application attaches to that listing.
